Introduction

The 1st edition of Obsyida’s “Introduction to CPP security” course teaches individuals the basic principles of security and how to identify, anticipate, avoid or confront any threat.

The course presents the three realms of security and how to navigate through them.

  • Cyber security, threats presented in any digital form.

  • Physical security, threats that may harm or compromise your physical assets.

  • Psychological security, threats that may harm your mental state.

The classroom and field course includes simulations and covers the following topics:

  • Protecting digital data and strengthening privacy.

  • Protecting oneself and physical assets.

  • Situational and spatial awareness.

  • Developing the security mindset.

For the examination there will be a simulation that will test all the knowledge that has been acquired.

  • After finishing this course, you will possess an understanding of how to protect yourself in the cyberworld and as well in the physical and psychological world. You will learn new methods of searching the web. Understand how to limit the amount of personal data you give to both the cyber and physical world. Change most of your workflow.   • This course serves as an introductory course into security and CPP training. Obsydia is currently developing and creating a new standard in security that will elevate the level of individuals. This course is recommended to any individual who wishes to become more aware and secure about their data and own safety. Hence no prior knowledge is needed.

  • The duration of the course is around 12 hours split in 3 days. Distributed 2 hours on the first day, 6 hours on the second and 4 hours on the last day. First day is the introduction and theory, second day is practical training and understanding. Third day is an overview of what has been taught and checks into the new workflow.

  • It is preferred that each user would bring their mobile and laptop. If not, minimum device that is required is a mobile device. As this course is aimed towards your devices and how you can protect them.

  • Upon commencing the course, you will immediately put your acquired knowledge into practice from day one. With expert guidance from our instructors and access to comprehensive resources, you will gain a deep understanding of the necessary changes and procedures to effectively manage your CPP environment.

  • The Basic CPP security training costs 500 Euros.

  • The course is delivered on-site in a specially equipped facility that allows the instructors to recreate the necessary setting for specific training purposes.

  • After finishing the course and passing the exam, you will receive a certificate.

  • The Basic CPP security certificate is valid for one year and will need to be renewed if you would like to keep the certificate valid.

  • The examination will assess proficiency in the three core areas covered during the training: Cybersecurity, Physical Security, and Psychological Security. The examination is divided into two separate components conducted on different days. Each day's assessment comprehensively evaluates competence across these security domains. The decision to split the examination over two days is intentional, aimed at discouraging mere skill acquisition without long-term retention.
